Western University
Western University, situated along Deshkaan Ziibing (Antler River) in London, Ontario, offers more than 400 diverse specializations, majors and minors, and 120 master’s and PhD programs, across 11 faculties, a School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and 3 affiliated university colleges.
At Western, you can find a sense of belonging and community at the Indigenous Student Centre. There you will find friendly staff, valuable resources and culturally relevant programming, all aimed at enabling students to reach their highest potential.
Western is home to a growing Indigenous population, pursuing diverse fields of study and returning to their communities as leaders and role models for the next generation.
Affiliated University Colleges
At Western University, there are 3 affiliated university colleges. Each affiliate school is a smaller institution within Western University and has its own campuses and programs of study that can differ from what our main campus offers. Students attending any of our 3 affiliated university colleges have access to Western facilities and the Indigenous Student Centre; students also receive their degree from Western University.
Founded in 1919, Brescia University College is Canada’s only women’s university. With a population of 1,500, Brescia’s approach to education is student-centered and personalized. Brescia offers programs, including:
- Community Development
- Criminal Justice
- Food and Nutrition
- Kinesiology
Students who do not have the senior academic qualifications for entrance into first-year studies can apply for the Preliminary Year, which is open to male and female students.
For more than 150 years, Huron University College has delivered an elite university experience. Huron integrates social responsibility, ethical leadership and community engagement with the traditional advantage of the liberal arts. Programs include:
- Arts and Humanities
- Theology
- Management and Organizational Studies
With approximately 3,500 students, King’s University College offers a smaller campus experience. King’s students can choose from a wide variety of programs, including:
- Childhood and Social Institutions
- Social Justice and Peace Studies
- Social Work
