Indigenous Student Admissions
The University of Waterloo is committed to equity in the admission process and increasing access for Indigenous students. Waterloo encourages First Nations, Inuit and Métis students to self-identify to support the admissions review process, and complete the Admissions Information Form (AIF) to share additional information and personal experiences.
If you have questions about the admission process or would like support with your application, please email Alex DeGagne, Indigenous Recruitment and Partnership Specialist.
Mature Students
Mature students are considered on a case-by-case basis, with admission criteria varying by faculty.
If you have previously attended university or college, you are not considered to be a mature student for admission purposes.
Additional information about mature student admission is available on our website. If you have questions, email the Admissions Office.
