Student Wellness Services is staffed by trained service providers, such as:
- Family physicians
- Personal counsellors
- Registered nurses
- Psychologists
- Psychiatrists
- Wellness educators
The following are some services that are available to you.
Health Services
You can get access to medical care that includes:
- Doctor’s visits
- Comprehensive medical care
- Travel medicine and education
- Immunization
- Referrals for specialized treatment

Mental Health Services
You can book an appointment to meet with Mental Health Services or the Four Directions in-house Cultural Counsellor to discuss a range of issues to help you achieve a healthier and more balanced life. You can talk through any concerns or challenges you may be experiencing, resolve personal difficulties and deal with crises or distressing situations.
Some faculties such as Engineering, Business and the School of Graduate Studies now have embedded counsellors within the faculty.
