Wellness in mind, body and spirit is important to your success at university.
Student Wellness Services is staffed by trained service providers (family physicians, personal counsellors, registered nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists and wellness educators). The following are some services that are available to you.
You can get access to medical care that includes doctor’s visits, comprehensive medical care, travel medicine and education, immunization and referrals for specialized treatment.
Mental Health Services
You can book an appointment to meet with Mental Health Services or Four Direction’s in-house Cultural Counsellor to discuss a range of issues in order to help you achieve a healthier and more balanced life. You can talk through any concerns or challenges you may be experiencing, resolve personal difficulties and deal with crises or distressing situations.
Some faculties such as Engineering, Business and the School of Graduate Studies now have embedded counsellors within the faculty.
Visit Student Wellness Services for more information about Queen’s well-being services.
Visit the Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre for information on the cultural aspects of health or to set up an appointment with the Cultural Counsellor.
