Our unique 16-month program structure with an emphasis on technology use in the classroom defines our Bachelor of Education program; be part of a forward-thinking curriculum that leads to an Ontario College of Teachers certification. We also offer a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies, designed for those interested in working in alternative environments.

Academic advisors are committed to helping you make choices that will lead to your academic success. Your advisor can support you throughout your educational journey, from selecting a program to planning for the future.

Student Learning Centre

The Student Learning Centre helps you strengthen your academic skills and build a foundation for future success. We offer a variety of programs and services to assist you in your undergraduate and graduate studies. At the Centre, you can:

  • Learn study strategies to improve your tests and assignments.
  • Work with a writing specialist or peer tutors to develop your writing.
  • Work with a math specialist, physics or engineering specialist or peer tutor to tackle new concepts in science and engineering.
  • Improve your writing, speaking and listening skills.
  • Keep up with your coursework, learn study skills and prepare for tests and exams in the Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS).
  • Access tip sheets for study skills and online resources.
  • Attend MyStart: Orientation to ease the transition into university.
