Student Wellness Centre (SWC)
The SWC is staffed by trained service providers, such as:
- Family physicians
- Personal counsellors
- Registered nurses
- Psychologists
- Psychiatrists
- Wellness educators

Health Services
The SWC is an on-campus clinic that provides medical and health services to all OCAD U students.
You can book an appointment with one of the Centre’s healthcare professionals, and access services that include:
- Immunizations
- Medical treatment for injuries
- Prescriptions
- Referrals to other campus and community resources and supports
Counselling Services
Counselling is an active process where you and your counsellor work together to find ways to resolve your issues or concerns to help you to lead a healthier and more balanced life. Counsellors at the OCAD U SWC can help you work through a number of challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship or family issues, sexuality, grief or loss, self-esteem and drug or alcohol use.
