Housing and Transportation
Where you live and how you get to your classes are important parts of university life.
Algoma provides the information you need to help decide whether you should apply for residence or seek housing off campus. If you live off campus, information about public transportation options and parking services are also available to help you with your commute.
Housing
On Campus
If you live in residence at Algoma, you can choose one of the following options:
- Traditional-style residences with a bathroom shared between you and your roommate.
- Townhouse-style accommodations that fit up to 5 roommates and come with a fully furnished kitchen and common area.
If you want to live on campus, be sure to apply for residence online after you receive your offer of admission from Algoma.
Residence Life
Residence life is about more than where you live; it is also about where you will find a welcoming community of support, led by a senior student mentor, to guide you through your first year.
You will participate in exciting programming that builds on what you are learning inside the classroom and meet other first-year students.
